Taylor and Evan first met on a ski trip to Steamboat in 2021. Taylor was finishing her senior year of college at Colorado Mesa University, and Evan was living and working in Denver in commercial real estate.

They quickly started dating, keeping their connection alive through ski weekends and long-distance visits until Taylor graduated and moved to Denver in May 2021.

After spending most of their free time in Golden, Taylor and Evan decided to make the move West. They moved into their first apartment in Golden together.

Evan taught Taylor how to mountain bike, which has become one of their favorite activities to do together.

They took their first European trip to Italy, where they adventured and met Evan's distant Italian relatives.

Evan bought them a home in Golden, Colorado, in May 2025. A huge milestone for Evan, and their relationship!

Evan proposed to Taylor while they were mountain biking in Crested Butte, Colorado. He dropped the knee at the top of the climb of the 401. Needless to say, the ride down was one they'll never forget!
