Taylor and Evan first met on a ski trip to Steamboat in 2021. Taylor was finishing her senior year of college at Colorado Mesa University, and Evan was living and working in Denver.

They quickly started dating, keeping their connection alive through ski weekends and long-distance visits until Taylor graduated and moved to Denver in May 2021.

After spending most of their free time in Golden, Taylor and Evan decided to move there, into their first apartment together.

Evan taught Taylor how to mountain bike, which has become one of their favorite activities to do together.

They took their first European trip to Italy, where they adventured and met Evan's distant Italian relatives.

They bought their first home in Golden, Colorado, in May 2025.

Evan proposed to Taylor while they were mountain biking in Crested Butte, Colorado! Needless to say, the ride down was one they'll never forget.
